His mum fell and injured her hip and requires his care. How can he do the Fringe? Strap her to some luggage and bring her along? Leave her at home with plenty of food and water in her cat bowl?
His solution: Send San Francisco based Comedy Magician Big Al Catraz in his place. And Skype into the show from San Francisco to perform a bit in the show.
"I love the Fringe so much that I have attended eight times since 2000. Not to be able to attend breaks my heart, but my Mom comes first. By using technology, I will be able to participate a bit in the show and stay at home with Mom. It will be fun to see what we can do! Besides, I can deep fry MARS bars at home!"
The stars of Devil in the Deck and I Hate Children Children's Show, Paul Nathan and John Anaya will be joining Big Al Catraz on stage at the Frisco Fred Comedy Hour.
